UWE Bristol & Craig Wilson

UWE Bristol & I have had a long if sporadic relationship that dates back to 1996. This was when friends of mine from Bewdley High School attended UWE Bristol as undergraduate students.

I attended myself as a Geography student in 2002 to 2003 as a mature undergraduate after not finishing my degree at Liverpool John Moores. Again I didn't complete the second year but in 2006 an unofficial degree was awarded to me via verbal agreement that I had passed minus the BA!

In 2011, I attended the UWE Bristol Amnesty International charity event as a performance poet. This would be my last interaction with UWE Bristol until I ended up working for them as a Finance Assistant starting in June 2019.

I then completed two spoken word recording sessions at UWE now known as the Bristol Sessions in 2022/2023. Thank you UWE!
