frichi

I first met frichi on MySpace way back in late 2006 when we became friends after he read that I had a vocal only poetry album doing the rounds...he is an Italian musician, DJ etc and I was in Bristol, UK having not too long left Exeter.

He soon asked for a copy of the 'Globe Project' album I had on CD and through the magic of international postage service, he had access to 24 performance poetry tracks to play with!

The result 'All Our Possible Futures' stands up as probably the best track I have ever had the pleasure to work on! frichi put the music to the vocal I had recorded in early 2005 in Exeter MOP/NMD Studios (via St Petrocks!) and stunned the MySpace community with its unique ambiance once released initially in June 2007.

By this time I was also working very closely with Blind Truth Studios from South Korea/USA in plotting the completion of the whole Globe Project album. All you can now hear here! But frichi was very much inspirational in getting it all off the ground.

By May 2008, Blind Truth Studios had finished his musical collaboration but this didn't stop frichi from completing his 2008 'All Our Possible Futures' extended mix and 'No Complaints', frichi's interpretation of the poem 'Brilliant', a Jazzy, hip hop track that really gave life to the final workings done for the 'Globe Project'.

Did I mention that frichi is also a DJ who likes to mix quick? In 24 hours he mixed 'State of the Mind Today', Into the Shadows' & the brilliant 'Revolutions End' into 3 tracks that was later used to finish off 'State of Mind' EP in 2020! Cheeky but good fun...

& The Future? Well we will have to wait and see won't we :)
